The Budding Chef's Club has grown considerably since we started in January 2018. We are often fully booked for our sessions and operate a waiting list.
These Terms & Conditions are effective from the 29th July 2018, and are designed to ensure fairness to all those who use, or who wish to use, our service.
Your child's first session must be booked online through our website to enable us to capture important information.
Subsequent sessions may be booked in person, through email, message to our Facebook page or online.
It is your responsibility to fill in the information form generated when booking on our website with the correct information that relates to your child. These forms are used in the event of an accident or emergency, and we will go by whatever information is given on them.
It is your responsibility to update us of any changes that would affect our ability to contact you or your emergency contacts.
It is your responsibility to update us of any changes to allergies/intolerances or dietary requirements.
When you book through our website, we will send you a confirmation email of your booking.
If you are booking a subsequent session, via any of the ways detailed in 1.1, we will confirm your booking with you in the same way as soon as possible,
If you need to cancel a session due to illness, you must inform us as soon as it is reasonably possible for you to do so, prior to the start of the session.
If you need to cancel your booking for any other reason, please let us know a minimum of 48 hours before the session begins.
If we need to cancel a session due to circumstances beyond our control, we will contact you using the contact details you have provided us with on your booking form, giving you as much notice as possible.
We reserve the right to cancel any advertised session if we do not have enough children booked onto the session. An alternative session will be offered to you.
If a session is fully booked, we will allow a maximum of 4 children to be placed on a waiting list. We will contact you as soon as we can once a space becomes available.
We regret that any expenses or costs incurred by you as a result of us having to cancel a session, other than the session fee will not be reimbursed.
4. Non Attendance
Any non attendance is subject to the full cost of the session.
Regular non attendance of sessions may impact your ability to book future sessions with us.
5. Dietary Requirements
If your child has any specific dietary requirements, please inform us as soon as possible to enable us to meet your child's needs.
If any dietary requirements are not reported to us in advance, we will assume that there are none.
It is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to these requirements.
6. Medical conditions, illnesses and allergies
If your child has a specific allergy, please inform us on your child's booking form, and list any medications that would be needed in the event of coming into contact with the allergen.
If we are informed of any allergy in advance of a session, we will take appropriate steps to ensure your child does not come into contact with the allergen.
If your child requires an Epi-Pen or antihistamine, please ensure this is brought to every session, is named and is within the use-by date.
If your child has any medical needs or conditions, please inform us on your child's booking form.
If your child needs to use an inhaler or take any medication during a session, please let us know on your child's booking form, and ensure that it is brought to the sessions, named, and within the use-by date.
If your child needs to take any antibiotics/pain relief during a session for a short term medical need, please send it with them, named, with the dosage instructions clearly visible. We can only give out medication with your written permission. You can give this on your child's booking form.

7. Payment Terms.
Payment for sessions lasting 3 hours or less must be made in full at time of booking. This can be done online, or using childcare vouchers.
Payment for sessions lasting more than 3 hours (holiday club) can be made in full at time of booking online, or using childcare vouchers.
You may choose to pay a £5 non-refundable deposit per child per session. The full balance must be received a minimum of 48 hours before the session begins.
If you have made the £5 non-refundable deposit, we will contact you 72 hours before the session begins to remind you that the balance is due within the next 24 hours. If we do not receive payment in this time and/or we do not hear from you, the session spaces will be released to children on our waiting list, and you will forfeit your deposit.
Childcare vouchers are accepted as payment for all sessions. If we are not registered with your provider, please contact us as soon as possible and we will register with them.
If payment has not been received in accordance with these terms and conditions, your booking will be cancelled, and you will receive an email confirming this.
8. Restricted access
We reserve the right to restrict access to our services to those who repeatedly book sessions and do not arrange payment in accordance with our payment terms.
